RUGS
Today I felt like I had to look around for some art deco/art nouveau rugs. Here are some of the results. Why may I look at rugs? Well, the colors and illustrations I find to be quite often spectacular in their richness as well as simplicity, and there is much to help the creative mind in his or her eternal quest of beauty.

THE ROOM MAGAZINE
Dear Reader,
There are a lot of fashion magazines today, and that's wonderful. However, there are few that I can recomend as far as content and overall layout goes. The Room, a Hungarian magazine, is one of those few that I love. Take a look at their page.

TAMARA DE LEMPICKA
What better way to start off the day than with some Lempicka paintings. Did you know Lempicka was from Poland?

SALO INTERIOR
Some shots from the Pasolini film Salo (!) If you haven't seen this film I cannot give you and recomendations a part from the fact that it is superb. Especially for the decor...
NICHOLAS KIRKWOOD - SHOES FOR FEMALES
Had lunch with a friend this afternoon in the Japanese part of town (Opéra) and she informed me about this new designer. So I had to take a look... This designer is, of course, from London. London seems to be the city that's on fire right now... Here is his site.
JEAN-MICHEL FRANK - FONDATION PIERRE BERGÉ YVES SAINT LAURENT
There is a new exhibition at the Fondation Pierre Bergé Yves Saint Laurent on Jean-Michel Frank. I highly encourage anyone reading this (pour ceux qui habitent Paris) to go check it out. I'll be going this weekend.

ANDRO WEKUA
I cannot believe that I haven't taken the time to write about this artist. During the last art festival in Basel (Art Basel) I took the time to visit my favorite area of the show called "Unlimited". I discovered this artist and his work of which I instantly fell in love. The colors are right on point, and the ambiance is strange - almost like a Fellini film. As far as contemporary art goes, this is one of my favorites.
PALAIS DE TOKYO - CHASING NAPOLEON
Dear Reader,
This evening a friend and I decided to go see the new exhibition at palais de tokyo called "chasing napoleon". Here are a couple photos. Not sure what to say a part from that at the end there were probably about 20 paintings about humanity, the beginning and the end of the world, and many references to the human as a soul vessel. Enjoy!
