MIU MIU FABRIC

This season's Miu Miu collection (yes, I am perhaps overly interested) has a wonderful grouping of fabric. Take this printed silk for example, as one can see it's not the typical luminescent silk, rather it is somewhat grained. It makes me think of a piece of furniture by Pierre Paulin. Except for the print.

Many of the recent shows in Paris Fashion Week disturbed me, especially Nina Ricci now that Toscanes is gone, however throughout the rubbish I was happy (as I usllay am with this one) to find that Miu Miu had a lovely and strange collection.
