CAROLE BOUQUET

If you do not know of Carole Bouquet you might remember her as a bond girl in the film "For Your Eyes Only" - She is a French Actress and her beauty and style (especially from the era that this film was made) is inspiring.

PHENOMENA

This is the opening scene in another Dario Argento film that I am in love with called "Phenomena". Again, not for the light hearted. I find his opening scenes to be very well done on the artistic scale, always leaving many questions and much anxiety.

Dear readers,

I simply had to put this film into my blog, as it is one of my favorites. Starring the daughter (Asia Argento) of Mr. Argento and taking place in Rome it is a film in which we see three different characters finally portrayed by the same woman. It is of course a brutal film which treats the subject of rape and, in my opinion, the psychological deveopment of a victim. Possesion, revenge, pain, love, assumption, and finally becoming the enemy. Of course, it is also a highly stylized film in which Asia Argento is portrayed beautifully, perhaps even the best out of all her cinema performances. Here are a couple photos to leave you thinking.
